About Mick
Mick Brady is a Labour councillor for Hasland. He first joined the borough council in 1995, served until 2003 and returned in 2015, and was re-elected in 2019 and 2023 — topping the Hasland poll in 2023.
He was Deputy Mayor in 2022/23 and Chesterfield's 382nd Mayor in 2023/24, when his Mayor's Appeal raised money for Chesterfield FC Community Trust and Chesterfield Royal Hospital Charity. He has been a trustee of The Chesterfield United Charities since 2023.
