About Amanda

Amanda Serjeant has been a Labour councillor since 2011. She has been Deputy Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council since 2017 and holds the cabinet portfolio for finance and asset management.

Earlier in her time on cabinet she led on leisure, culture and tourism, and then on the town centre and visitor economy. She also represents the borough on joint bodies, including the Vision Derbyshire Joint Committee.
