About Lewis
Lewis Whitbread has represented the Hasland & Rother division on Derbyshire County Council since May 2025, when he won the newly drawn seat for Reform UK with 1,285 votes — 448 ahead of Labour. He was one of 42 Reform UK councillors elected that year, when the party took control of the county council.
He chairs the council's Governance, Ethics and Standards Committee, which oversees councillors' conduct and the council's constitution, and also sits on the People Scrutiny Committee.
